3.1 Press register
Acne Studios may process our media contacts’ name, title, employer, address, telephone number and email address. The data is collected from you or from Acne Studios’ PR agencies or other media contacts. Acne Studios is processing your data for the purpose of sending out press releases and invitations to special events and promotions. The processing is based on Acne Studios’ legitimate interest to communicate press releases and information regarding new products and similar to individuals that may have an interest in such information in their professional capacity in the media industry. You are entitled to reject our press releases and invitation messages at any time by contacting Acne Studios at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Acne Studios may also process your name and email address for administering so called “press loans”, namely providing samples of upcoming collections and similar upon request. The processing is based on Acne Studios’ legitimate interest to do the aforesaid.
We may retain your data for as long as we assess that our press releases and other information may be relevant to you in your professional capacity. Acne Studios will however delete your data upon your request. Your data (for example your name) may be found in correspondence or other documentation regarding Acne Studios’ relationship with you or your employer which Acne Studios needs to save for commercial, business or legal reasons. The processing is based on Acne Studios’ legitimate interest to store such documentation to the extent it is of commercial, business or legal significance to Acne Studios’ business operations.
3.2 Pink Card holders
If you have been provided with a Pink Card, Acne Studios will process your name and email address to administer your discounts and to send out invitations to VIP events. The data is collected from you or from Acne Studios’ PR agencies. The processing is based on Acne Studios’ legitimate interest to do the aforesaid. Acne Studios will retain your data for as long as you are a Pink Card holder.
3.3 Attendees of Acnes Studios’ fashion shows and events
If you have been invited and/or attended one of our fashion shows or events we may process your name as part of our invitation and attendance lists. Your data is processed for the purpose of administering the invitation and the fashion show/event, and for internal purposes as reference material for upcoming shows and events. The processing is based on Acne Studios’ legitimate interest of hosting fashion shows and events and to develop its business operations.
If you have attended any of Acne Studios’ fashion shows or events and have been photographed at such event, we may also process photographs of you. The photographs are processed for the purpose of being used as reference material for shows and events as well as internal presentations, and for providing media with pictures which they can use in their editorial material. The processing is based on Acne Studios’ legitimate interest to do the aforesaid.
We will retain your data as long as necessary for the purposes escribed above. Please contact Acne Studios if you want us to remove your picture from the press site.
3.4 Users of Acne Studios’ press site
Acne Studios processes your name and email address in order to provide you with access to the press site. The processing is based on Acne Studios’ legitimate interest to do the aforesaid. Acne Studios will retain your data for as long as you have an account.
Acne Studios may transfer your personal data to selected external service providers. These recipients are only entitled to process your personal data on behalf of Acne Studios while performing a service for Acne Studios. Acne Studios takes all reasonable legal, technical and organizational measures in order to ensure that your data is handled securely and with an adequate level of protection when transferring to, or sharing with, such selected third parties.
Acne Studios may also release your personal data to public authorities where we are obligated to do so by law. If Acne Studios and/or its subsidiaries are subject to an actual or potential merger or acquisition or similar transaction, we may share your data with potential and actual buyer(s) and their financial and legal advisers, subject to such third parties undertaking appropriate confidentiality.
We may share your data with our selected suppliers, who may process your data in countries both inside and outside of the EU/EEA when performing functions on our behalf as set out in section 4 above. Please note that countries outside of the EU/EEA may not provide an adequate level of protection for your personal data. Acne Studios has however taken appropriate safeguards to ensure that the receiving parties of your data in countries outside of the EU/EEA shall provide an adequate protection of your data. Such safeguards may be that the receiving party has joined the Privacy Shield (if the receiving party is a company established in the United States) or that the receiving party has signed so called standard data protection clauses adopted by the EU Commission. In this section 6, we have summarized your data subject rights to request access, rectification, erasure of your personal data, to restrict the processing of your personal data, to object to processing, and your right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority.

Right of access
You have the right to obtain confirmation of whether personal data concerning yourself are being processed and, where that is the case, access to the personal data and information regarding, inter alia, the purpose of processing, the categories of personal data concerned, the categories of recipients to whom your data have been or will be disclosed, and the envisaged period of time for which personal data will be stored (or the criteria for determining this).
Right of rectification
You have the right to request rectification of inaccurate personal data concerning yourself, and to complete incomplete data.
Right of erasure
Under certain circumstances you are entitled to request that we erase your personal data or restrict our processing of your data, namely in the following events.
- When it is no longer necessary for us to process your data taking into consideration the purposes for which it was collected.
- When our processing of your data is based on a legitimate interest legal basis and you object to such processing, and there is no overriding legitimate ground for our processing.

Right to objection

We will retain your personal information for as long as necessary in relation to the purposes for which the data was collected or otherwise processed. Under section 3 above we have specified the criteria for determining the retention time for our processing of data in relation to the different purposes the data is being processed.
